Set against the opulent backdrop of Versailles, France in 1789, MARIE ANTOINETTE: VAMPIRES QUEEN OF VERSAILLES is a cinematic gothic horror that reimagines the final days of the French monarchy through a supernatural lens. The story follows a young, doll-obsessed Marie who is haunted in her chambers by a predatory, vampiric version of herself. Compelled to descend “deeper down the rabbit hole,” Marie is lured through a hallway of suffocating green fabrics before an ominous, floating mirror reveals itself in the Hall of Mirrors. Instinctually stepping through the glass into another dimension, she undergoes a terrifying transformation, merging with her reflection to become the sovereign Vampire Queen. The nightmare culminates in a macabre dance of the undead as Marie feeds upon King Louis XVI, trading her regal composure for a sinister, unsatiated hunger – signaling she might have passed the point of no return.

MARIE ANTOINETTE: VAMPIRE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES was filmed on a virtual production soundstage with a 50-foot curved LED screen utilizing groundbreaking technology known as “The Volume” – combining real props with digital backgrounds built with Unreal Engine. ANTOINETTE stands at the precipice of film industry tech seen in big budget productions such as Star Wars’ THE MANDALORIAN and THE BATMAN, creating visually stunning and immersive yet realistic environments – perfect for the hauntingly cinematic dream world of MARIE ANTOINETTE: VAMPIRE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES.
