Whispers of the past and present come together in the darkness of the theater in this Lone Star EMMY®-winning dance film. Honoring a tradition as old as theaters themselves, the “ghost light” looms at the edge of the stage to ward off spirits of the night.

Filmed on-site at the haunted Scottish Rite Theater, where it has been said that the ghosts of convalescents during the 1918 Spanish Influenza still roam the corridors to this day. Set to Frédéric Chopin’s 24 Preludes for solo piano, PRELUDES/BEGINNINGS beckons the souls to come out and dance through the night, returning to the rafters before dawn.
